The mission
of Media Design is to disseminate digital contents and media
design for the ubiquitous society in the 21st century to
the world. We have named this field "ubiquitous content"
and "ubiquitous design".

The research activites
of Media Design take for their subject the many aspects
of daily life including food, clothing, and shelter. Based
on the "total design" concept, with the current
fields of "learning design", "entertainment
design", "life design", "sound design",
"fashion design" and "performance design"
as the framework, the fields will expand in the future to
include the fields of "body deign"("physical
design"), "space design", and "architecture
design". Both design and content are based on the user-centeric
approach to propose the life style, work style and learning
style.
We adopt many styles of research such as that with support of media design theory, development of new technologies and producing contents. Through this unique research style, we contribute to developing a leading professional human resource in the media design field with expression, development and theoretical capability.
